Landscape Designer / Sales Consultant

George Cardenas Landscape is looking for an experienced Landscape Designer / Sales Consultant to join our growing team serving Chicago’s North Shore.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative landscape design and working directly with clients to sell landscape projects. You will meet with clients, develop design concepts, create proposals and presentations, and guide projects from the initial consultation through the sale.

Responsibilities

• Meet with residential and commercial clients to understand their goals, style, and budget.

• Develop landscape designs, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and outdoor living concepts.

• Create professional 2D and 3D designs and presentations.

• Prepare project proposals and pricing.

• Present designs and proposals to clients and close sales.

• Develop relationships with new and existing clients and follow up on leads.

• Manage multiple projects and maintain communication with clients throughout the sales process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in landscape design, landscape sales, design-build, or a related field.

• Experience creating professional landscape designs and presentations.

• Strong communication, presentation, and sales skills.

• Knowledge of plants, hardscape materials, and landscape construction.

• Proficiency with SketchUp or similar design software preferred.

• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.

• Valid driver’s license.

Compensation & Benefits

• $65,000–$85,000 base salary + commission
