Small Engine Mechanic
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Small Engine Mechanic to join our landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a variety of small engines, including lawnmowers, trimmers, leaf blowers, snowblowers and other landscaping equipment. You will ensure that all equipment is in good working order to help maintain efficiency and safety for our field teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair small engine-powered equipment such as lawnmowers, snow blowers, and trimmers.
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and blade sharpening.
Troubleshoot engine problems using diagnostic tools and provide repair solutions.
Maintain an organized and safe workspace in the equipment maintenance area.
Keep detailed records of services and repairs for each piece of equipment.
Order and maintain an inventory of parts and supplies needed for equipment repairs.
Collaborate with the field team to ensure timely repairs and minimal equipment downtime.
Perform pre-season and post-season equipment checks and maintenance.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or relevant mechanical role.
Strong diagnostic skills for small engines, including 2-cycle and 4-cycle engines.
Familiarity with lawn and landscaping equipment repairs (lawnmowers, snowblowers, trimmers, etc.).
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment when necessary.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Maintenance Account Manager
Position Overview:
George Cardenas Landscape is seeking a Maintenance Account Manager to join our team. This is a newly developed role with the opportunity to help shape our client service processes as our company continues to grow. The ideal candidate enjoys building strong client relationships, performing onsite property visits, and ensuring that our maintenance clients receive the highest level of service. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organized, and comfortable working both in the field and in communication with clients throughout the season.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned maintenance clients.
Conduct regular onsite property audits to evaluate quality and identify needs.
Document site findings with notes and photos and communicate follow-up items to the team.
Recommend landscape enhancements such as seasonal color, pruning, mulching, plant replacements, and turf applications.
Assist with preparing and sending proposals, and follow up on approvals.
Coordinate with maintenance supervisors and crew leaders to ensure client expectations are met.
Respond promptly and professionally to client questions or concerns.
Maintain organized client records and communicate updates internally.
Support renewal preparations and client satisfaction reviews.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to perform detailed site inspections and identify landscape needs.
Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple properties.
Valid driver’s license.
Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or property management preferred but not required.
Understanding of landscape maintenance tasks and seasonal needs is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
